This year’s anniversary trip started off not so great because of all the tropical storms threatening the coast. I always book our trips months in advance and I was worried that we would have to cancel. Then, what if they didn’t give us our money back. Or what if when we got there, it would rain the entire time. I was worried all the way there. Driving through the rain didn’t help either. But when we got there it was really nice, rain and all.

It was a resort with an older crowd, very scenic, quiet because it was off season, and peaceful. The food at the resort was good. My favorite was actually the mudslide drink. We went off resort to different restaurants as well. Trying different foods at Mosaic Cafe & Catering and Tattooed Moose. Tattooed Moose was on Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives so we ended up eating good. Which was pretty much all we did. Eat and walk the beach.
